My story
I’m Hobart born and bred, but the sunshine state has always held my heart.
My story as a copywriter began in July 2013 in Brisbane. At the time, I was a recent Arts graduate living in a new city, with a rapidly-dwindling bank balance. Not an ideal situation.
Just 8 months later, however, I was a business owner with work booked for weeks in advance.
The secret to this reversal was surprisingly simple. I got a website, and I filled that website with the right words. These were words that were search engine optimised for Google, but still engaging for human readers. And they were paired with regular blogs that brought a steady stream of new words to the site.
With the right words, it wasn’t long before my website ranked #1 for “Brisbane copywriter”. And once I was Google’s favourite Brisbane copywriter, the enquiries began flooding in. Perhaps you even arrived here via Google yourself?

As an SEO copywriter and proofreader, I make it my business to know everything about your business (not in a creepy way). I specialise in creating website and blog content for services-based businesses (think accountants, music teachers, landscape gardeners, etc.), but I can also help you with eBooks and brochures if that’s your thing.
In 2019, I married my American husband and moved to northern Virginia, so that's where I'm currently based. But thanks to the internet, the distance really doesn't matter at all. So long as you're happy communicating via email and video calls (which is how I talked to clients even when I was in Brisbane), I'm the copywriter for you. And we don't even need to worry about GST.
